Secure Payments / Refunds Policy / Terms & Conditions of Trade
Payment Processing
For paid entries, the awards entry system will provide an option to pay by credit card or bank transfer. The platform will also generate an invoice for your records. Payment must be received within 1 week of the closing date of entries in order for entries to be eligible for judging.
All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allow list. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services

Refunds Policy
Particular care should be taken to ensure that the station manager signs off entries prior to the entry deadline. There is a no refunds policy on entries once paid for.
